Omid is a commercial and intellectual property lawyer with a specific focus on the manufacturing sector. He is also studying towards a Master of Intellectual Property Law at the University of Melbourne.
With his background working for clients across a range of manufacturing sectors, Omid has gained experience drafting and negotiating supply of goods agreements (domestic and cross-border), standard form customer terms and conditions and other related agreements required at each stage of the supply chain.
Omid advises on a range of regulatory compliance and intellectual property issues, including regulatory issues arising from the importation and manufacture of industrial chemicals and regulated goods. He also regularly advises clients on the increasingly enforced ‘unfair contract terms’ regime and how it applies to standard form waste management agreements.
Omid’s strong commercial awareness skills means he places importance on understanding each client’s business and industry to provide legal services with a holistic approach and an in-house philosophy.
