
Chris’ practice spans the full scope of trade mark services. He has over 15 years’ experience in intellectual property and has worked at several of Australia’s leading top-tier law firms. Chris is passionate about helping clients protect and maximise the value of their intellectual property and provides advice across a range of contentious and non-contentious trade mark matters, delivering practical, commercial advice tailored to his clients’ objectives.
Chris has extensive experience in the retail, fashion, design, music and entertainment industries. He represents market-leading brands in complex contested proceedings and has successfully represented a number of high profile artists and celebrities, protecting and enforcing their trade mark portfolios and brand assets both locally and internationally.
Chris was recognised as Managing IP’s Rising Star in both 2018 and 2019, and continues to be recognised as a Notable Practitioner.
Chris previously served as Chair of the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) Non Traditional Trade Marks Committee (East Asia and Pacific), and continues to be actively involved with INTA committees. He is also a Fellow member of the Institute of Patent and Trade Marks Attorneys of Australia.
Outside of work, Chris spends time with family (usually running after 2 little kids!) and watching a range of sports.
